Why is there a refundable booking fee?
A booking fee is taken per person to guarantee an appointment. If you fail to attend your appointment your booking fee will be put towards the cost of hiring professional stylists and photographers. It is therefore necessary for the studio to take a booking fee in the unlikely event of a broken appointment. Booking fees are fully refundable once you attend and complete all sections of your session, or most people put it towards additional pictures.

How do I get there?
Mojo Studios are situated at 62-64 Swan Street, Manchester M4 5JU. We are opposite the Crowne Plaza hotel and the Royal Exchange theatre. 5 minutes walk from Victoria station and 10 minutes from Piccadilly.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes there are two NCP car parks located within 5 minutes walk from the studio.

What do I need to bring with me?

On the day of your session you will need to bring your confirmation letter confirming your appointment. Choose your favourite five or six outfits together with any accessories (e.g. handbags and jewellery). If you have any hobbies (e.g. musical instrument) providing its easy to carry bring it with you. Come with little or no makeup and clean hair without any styling products.

Can I bring a friend?
Of course! Please let us know ASAP if you wish to bring someone with you. This could be your partner, best friend, sister or mum, so you can enjoy your day together. There are two appointments available on an hourly basis. But please let us know ASAP because double appointment slots are much sought after.

How long will the session last?
The session usually lasts around four hours.

Do you do group bookings?
Yes. Group bookings are available on selected days. Group bookings can be made for parties of three or more. With group bookings a non-fundable booking fee will be made at the time of making an appointment to secure your session.

Can I bring my pets?
Yes. We invite you to bring pets such as Cats and Dogs. If you wish to be photographed with pets, make sure you mention this to our bookings advisor as special arrangements will need to be made.

How much will my photographs cost?
Prices start from £50 and a range of packages are available to suit everyone. Pre-Pay packages are also available on the basis of a double your money option. e.g. If you pre-pay £100 towards pictures we will double it to £200 worth of pictures. However these pre-pay options are only available 24hrs before your appointment time, and will not be offered during your appointment. To take advantage of double your money packages please mention it to the bookings advisor 24hrs before your appointment.

What products are on offer?
We supply digital images on disc with full copyright, prints 6x8, 8x12, 12x16, 16x24. There is also a choice of framed or mounted prints in various sizes and styles of frame. Calendars, posters, contact sheets and Z-cards. Proving very popular at the moment are canvases.

What if I can't make the appointment?
If you can not attend your appointment for whatever reason, you must contact us at the latest 7 days before your agreed appointment date, and we will be happy to reschedule. You will be able to reschedule your appointment once. Failure to attend your appointment will result in the loss of the booking fee and may incur a no show charge.
